2009 NCAA College Football Polls and Rankings for Week 4 - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/college-football/rankings/_/poll/1)
The new poll has the Huskers ranked 25th. Had they hung on for a win they would have been in the Top 15 for certain. But, hey at least they did not drop out of the Top 25. The question is what rank will the Huskers and Mizzou be in 2 weeks? :go_big_red::go_big_red::go_big_red:

Watch Miami dismantle VA Tech this week. I believe that we are better than VA Tech, but nowhere near the Canes. Nebraska is at best a 15-25 team this year, which is disheartening for a program that expects to be a top 10 contender year in and year out.
When are we going to really be back?
It's going to take some recruiting classes like Miami had in the last two years, look how big of a corner they've turned. The days of turning a walk on from Cozad into an All Big 8'er are over, we need to bring in some serious recruits.

Hope you're laughing with me HarryHusker, VTech did just what I expected against Miami this week. Not saying Huskers are a top 10 team just yet, but we could've (should've) beaten VTech last week. Sad thing is some will say it came down to one play... It didn't. BUT, had ONE of MANY plays gone differently we would have taken that one. This week the defense got a LONG deserved shutout!!!!! I think we'll get at least one more this season.

After watching the Huskers beat Va Tech in the stats game last week my first thought was that Va Tech was over rated. The Hokie beat down of the Canes makes the Huskers look good! But I am sure the poll voters have forgotten that the Huskers should have won last week at Va Tech.
Hopefully the Huskers will crack the top 20!
The poll released today (27 Sept) has the Huskers ranked 23rd. Obviously the Huskers blowout win and The Hokies big win against Miaimi did little to improve the Huskers from their previous ranking (25th) No big deal, as long as the Huskers keep winning, the rankings wil take care of themselves.
