I agree the Va Tech game should be the BLACKOUT GAME! How awesome would it be to see 90,000 fans wearing BLACK in support of the BLACK SHIRTS!

Hope no one buys the new one with the hothuskers "logo" on it, seeing how it was created by someone else.

BorNred, we at HotHuskers.com PAID someone to develop that logo. However, due to similarities to another artisits work we are changing the logo. And the new artist is from a nationally known graphics firm.
So, we hope that you comment more on this forum on better issues.

How can you support a blackout game? We are the SCARLET and CREAM...
The Sea of Red...not the sea of black. This topic comes up on another board i`m on and I think the masses are against a blackout game. For one it wouldn`t look that good on tv. The sea of red looks much better on tv...especially at night. Also Georiga is doing it this weekend.
Just my 2 cents

Yep, HuskerVP you are right, the Huskers are the Scarlet and Cream. They always have been and they always will be. The BLACKOUT game is NOT something that HotHuskers.com started, it has been going on for years, and it is always the student body of NU that picked the game. HotHuskers decided to support the students in this endeavor for a variety of reasons. You can read more here on this here:

I thought they had that a couple of games ago when they handed out black shirts to the students...can`t remember what game but it looked funny cause the whole student section was in black. But hey...to each his own...Go Huskers

Well, I hope everyone got the blackout out of their system. Just looking at the shots right before the game and the blimp shots made me feel embarrassed. That stadium looked horrible, you can`t say that looked even close to intimidating. We are the sea of red...We will always be the sea of red...Put on your red and ......................LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

The loudest game I`ve been to is the 2006 Texas game. In the 4th Qtr. when it started to snow, that place was just a rockin`. I couldn`t believe the excitement that day. It`s truly an amazing place to watch a football game.
LOL, that Texas game was loud too, esp when it did start to snow ;)
Hopefully, all the 4 and 5 star recruits saw something woth coming to Nebraska with this game!
